Description
Getting the Whole Truth: Interviewing Techniques for the Lawyer Barry Zalma ISBN 9781641056830
The goal of any interview is to uncover the truth—and the way that truth is revealed lies in the art of interviewing. For lawyers, obtaining accurate and relevant information is essential to protecting a client’s interests, yet interviewing skills often receive little emphasis in traditional legal education.
Getting the Whole Truth equips lawyers at every stage of their careers—from new attorneys meeting their first clients to seasoned trial lawyers—with practical techniques for gathering information through effective human interaction. Regardless of who you are interviewing or why you need the information, the methods taught in this book help you engage with others, build rapport, and uncover the facts necessary to advocate successfully for your clients.
