Description
Communications Law: Media, Entertainment, and Regulation Donald Lively ISBN 9780870841583
This book moves beyond a narrow focus on traditional forms of communication. While it offers a thorough treatment of established communication theories and practices, it also explores the economic, artistic, and commercial forces that shape how media are created, distributed, and used. By examining the dynamic relationships among media institutions, creative expression, business interests, and society, the book provides a broader, more nuanced understanding of the media’s role in shaping culture, public discourse, and social interaction.
