A Comprehensive, Modern, and Accessible Casebook for One-Semester Contracts Courses
Problems in Contract Law: Cases and Materials, Concise Edition is designed for three- and four-credit, one-semester Contracts courses, offering a streamlined yet comprehensive approach to the subject. While maintaining the same structure and scope as the full-length edition, this Concise Edition sharpens the focus on core contract law principles and condenses coverage of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) to ensure professors can effectively cover all essential material within a semester.
Renowned for its multi-perspective approach, the casebook engages students with a variety of contractual settings while integrating theoretical, doctrinal, and practical perspectives. Each chapter presents a balance of traditional and contemporary cases, supplemented by explanatory notes, commentary, and problem-based exercises. The book also includes essay and short-answer problems, multiple-choice review questions, and self-assessment tools, allowing students to actively engage with the material and professors to tailor their teaching approach.
