This book contains a unique approach to the study of corrections. The authors employ a narrative-based approach, in which they have written an evocative text built around and enlivened by the lived experiences of those who are heavily involved in the correctional system. Approximately 20 narratives are included ― from victims, offenders, individuals who are both victims and offenders, and professionals working within the system.
